Studio Føy is an Oslo-based design studio founded by Guro Sørbø Midtun and Siri Line. They create long lasting products that combine playful storytelling with considered choices in materials and production—objects designed to be used and cherished for years.
They both graduated with a master’s degree in Product Design from Oslo Metropolitan University in 2018. Since then, the studio has exhibited at major international arenas such as Salone Satellite in Milan, Greenhouse at Stockholm Furniture Fair, and ICFF Studio in New York.
Studio Føy has also distinguished itself by receiving several recognitions, including Bo Bedre’s Design Award as “Newcomer of the Year” in 2017. In 2019, the studio was awarded a prestigious grant through the Research Council of Norway’s “STUD-ENT” program for its sustainable business model and product development strategy.
